- Shoutin' out loudly cryin' Shout -

In the dead of a dark night in october 1998 BB grab two guitars and a casio and burglarised into a basement vault prepared as a studio to have a first furious recording of some weird noises, damn young and unexperienced and no one expected what happen to proceed...

in the beginning BB strumed the two guitars only for the fun of it, rhythmical guitarwork - just like THE VELVET UNDERGROUND did - at any time and any place, but all in a sudden gathered a few tunes around, 'Age Of M' and 'Angie's Garden' showed up as the very first.
BB then in 2000 took the chance to do a semi-professional studio production of the material, supported by several musicians. By simple means BB extended the guitar based concept into mostly instrumental and psychedelic songs, on the shoulders of PINK FLOYD, THE DANDY WARHOLS and Krautrock like AMON DÜUuml;l II. BB checked out whats possible and gained first experiences with productions and arrangements.
Proud of the produced debut BB then noticed what happened to the original concept of playing two guitars, realising that "Sword Above You" was obviously not characteristic for the BB-sound of those times. To rectify this circumstance in 2001 BB instantly elaborate the concept of "Auto Ma Thee Rial" only consisting of live recorded acoustic guitars, voices and a tambourine.

in the spring 2001 BB began to work on "The Beef Hard In Me". but the whole thing should have been a whole long time coming. instead of instrumentals BB wrote more lyrical songs by and by, being into CAPTAIN BEEFHEART & HIS MAGIC BAND and the weird things of FRANK ZAPPA changed both songwriting and lyrics most enduring and nothing remains the same.
BB formed a complete rockband to perform these, but it turned out that unfortunately time goes by...

in 2002 BB had an awful bunch of live sessions with various collaborators in so-called happenings, caught sight of these recordings and felt a new wind of change blown BB into exaggerated improvisations such as NEU! or CAN, BRAND X or MUSHROOM created, sometimes based on a single note. A few overdubbs completed "Alotta New! Noise For Nothin" as an almost 160-minutes instrumental album.

In mid of 2002 BB went down to finalise "The Beef Hard in Me" in the studio, it took the whole summer to record and produce all these little details buried inside. But in the meantime musical influences flipped over to gentler moods, like BELLE AND SEBASTIAN, ARGENT, YES or Sixties like STRAWBERRY ALARM CLOCK. which departed the album from the elder more destructive idea and puts it a little closer to commercial music in the terms of FRANK ZAPPA.
Once again, all of a sudden in a hot summers night BB decided to record a live album "The Beef Hard In Me - Unplugged" containing modified basic guitar'n'vocal versions.

In 2003 BB got many sessions going, various collaborators affected the music in different ways, very old tunes were very new played and those formed the slightly different best-of album "Old Stuff In Temporary Dresses". Even back then it was mentioned that "it's almost ideal for a dignified end of a career" and although BB did some songwriting into 2004 it seemed just like that...

BB picked up and first played those old tunes again in 2007 and new songs appeared out of nowhere in a row. After all these excessive years of the antiques with outstanding exaggerations and changes, BB now focus on the essential. The sound of THE BIRTHDAY PARTY, the minimalism of SPOON, electronics like BECK, DEPECHE MODE, or THE CURE and at least the duo live performances of THEY MIGHT BE GIANTS with programmed drums make it happen.
A whole quantity of possibilities is blanked, the songs become naked and appear in their basic, beauty or savage.

Nothing but anger, a guitar and a beatbox,
that's how BB sends "The New Understatement" in 2008!
It turned out to be a very exciting year, BB did a few shows and released the album.

Early 2009 BB cancelled the understated project because of new ideas.
now the music is arranged deeper and the sound is gettin' darker!
Dynoises some times in poland, PORTISHEAD, THOM YORKE or ROBERT WYATT had been influences on that
and a new EP "Melodusk" arise.
In the meantime BB prepared a very special performance of
Rolling Stones Coversongs dedicated to Herberts 60th.
The studio production of these songs are gathered on another EP called
"On The Tip Of Their Tongue".
